As Man City haven't been so good in Europe, no one really expected them to go through so simply. After winning a close 2-1 victory in Portugal, they had another game in Manchester. The game wasn't so close though as the final score was 4-0 to Man City. Sergio Aguero scored after just 19 seconds. In the first half four yellow cards were harshly given to Porto. In the 75th minute a second goal was scored for Man City from Edin Dzeco. The goal could have been offside, and protests from Rolando got him sent off. In the 83rd minute David Silva scored a nice goal to make 3-0 Man City. Just two minutes later, on loan from Roma, David Pizzaro scored to make it 4-0. Porto rallied at the end of the game, but failed to score. The final score was 4-0 Man City, which sends them through to the next round.
